1st Place is 7665 NW 22nd Street. {City of Margate}
The Margate commission honored the winners of the 2025 Holiday Decorating Contest during the January 21 meeting.
The Eacker Family {David Volz}
The Eacker family, Elena, Eric, and their son, Everett, won first place for their display at 7665 NW 22nd Street. They received a plaque and a $100 gift card.
2nd Place is 7610 NW 23rd Street. {City of Margate}
Shazim Ali, at 7610 NW 23rd Street, won second place, a plaque, and a $50 gift card. Julia Errante, at 2030 NW 70th Lane, won third place and received a plaque and a $25 gift card.
“We worked hard on our holiday display and had 20,000 lights, a six-foot Santa hat, and reindeer on the roof. We used our entire roof for the display,” said Elena. “The kids in our neighborhood liked our display.”
