Margate Crime Update: Woman’s Home Burglarized

Through our joint effort with the Margate Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Margate’s crime and arrests through January 28.

Burglary Conveyance

A 49-year-old female was the victim of a Burglary Conveyance on Flores Way, reported on 01/29/2023. The total estimated loss was $102.

A 35-year-old male was the victim of Burglary Conveyance on NW 24th Court, which was reported on 01/24/2023.

Burglary Residence

A 50-year-old female was the victim of a Burglary Residence on S State Road 7, reported on 01/26/2023. The total estimated loss was $109.

Battery

A 48-year-old female was the victim of Battery on N State Road 7, which was reported: on 01/28/2023.

A 43-year-old male was the victim of Battery on 183 S State Road 7, which was reported on 01/29/2023.

Retail / Shoplifting

CVS was the victim of Theft – Retail / Shoplifting on 1200 N State Road 7, which was reported on 01/28/2023. The total estimated loss was $197.

Arrests

Day, Henry Lyonel, 45, was arrested on a charge of Trespassing-Occupied Structure Or Conveyance at 505 N Sr 7 on 01/29/2023.

Desselle, Davana Christine, 38, was arrested on a charge of Warrant at 1413 Banks Rd, on 01/30/2023.

Gipson, Bentaevia Tamara, 21, was arrested on a charge of Warrant for Aggravated Battery With / Deadly Weapon at 100 Rock Island Rd, Margate, on 01/24/2023.

Pierre, Benje, 18, was arrested on a charge of Resist Officer-Obstruct W/O Violence on 62nd Terrace on 01/25/2023.

Parrish, Michael Jerome, 37, was arrested on a Career Offender-Fail To Update Address Or Name charge at 700 S State Road 7 on 01/26/2023.

Greene, Michael Lamarr, 27, was arrested on a Carrying Concealed Weapon-Firearm charge at 5555 W Atlantic Blvd on 01/26/2023.

Lawson, Michkayle La Amor, 30, was arrested on a Resist Officer-Obstruct W/O Violence charge at 5413 W Atlantic Blvd, on 01/27/2023.

Hart, Kennith, 64, was arrested on a Touch Or Strike/Battery/Domestic Violence charge on SW 67th Avenue on 01/28/2023.

Poole, Lorenzo Tyrone, 46, was arrested on a Battery-Cause Bodily Harm – Domestic Violence charge on N Road 7 on 01/28/2023.

Thorpe, Antwan Tyrone, 44, was arrested on a charge of Larceny-Petit Theft 1st Degree 100 Less 750 Dols on 1200 N SR 7, on 01/28/2023.

Vixamar, Rachel Carmel, 35, was arrested on a Trespassing-Property Not Structure Or Convey charge at 5785 Park Dr/NW 10th St, on 01/30/2023.
