Malicious Letter in the Woodlands

By: Sharon Aron Baron

The joyous Christmas season can bring out the best in people, but this year a neighbor in Section 8 has decided to show how malicious one can be during what should be a time of celebration.

This neighbor, who seems to be privy to Section 8 financial and personal information, has taken upon him or herself to send out an anonymous letter in an unmarked envelope to each of the 121 members of Section 8.    Neighbors who found this letter in their mailboxes were horrified to see their neighbors names listed on the letter.  Many are outraged,  not at the information in the letter, but to the motives of the neighbor who has taken it upon him or herself to embarrass others.

Section 8 is one of our most friendliest sections.   It’s an area where everyone knows one another and many younger families call it home.   There are many social events at the clubhouse and they open their doors to other families when there is an event.

Is the sender just a concerned neighbor who wants the best for their section or someone who may be trying to get retribution for something or someone?

We don’t know the name of the sender, but if this person is a board member who has access to  Section 8 financial information, then they have no business in a position of leadership in our community.

Anonymous letters such as this may be thrown away, but we cannot forget or forgive someone with such a mean spirit towards the people they have to live among.
