Coconut Creek is featuring a free drive-in movie on Saturday, August 13.
“Space Jam: A New Legacy” is a stand-alone sequel to the first “Space Jam” starring Michael Jordan in 1996. In this edition, LeBron James will have to team up with the Looney Tunes to save his son from rogue artificial intelligence.
The movie, shown on a three-story screen, begins at 8:30 p.m., but residents can arrive as early as 6:30 p.m. to secure parking.
Residents will receive sound through the car’s radio. Before the movie begins, Coconut Creek staff will let guests know which frequency to set their car radio.
A free bag of popcorn and a mini basketball hoop for doors will be given to the first 125 cars that arrive.
The drive-in movie will be held at the Butterfly Parking Lot, directly east of the Seminole Casino Coconut Creek, located at 5550 NW 40 St.
