Calling all treasure hunters, packrats, and borderline hoarders — the City of Margate is hosting an event to kickstart the Spring cleaning season.
The City of Margate will host its annual Spring Cleanup & Garage Sale event on Saturday, March 18, from 8:00 a.m. to Noon at Oriole Park, located at 7055 Northwest 1st Street.
Community members are invited to come treasure hunt and peruse the Oriole Park grounds, where vendors will be on hand offering new and gently used items for sale.
For those looking to turn their perceived trash into cash, the event presents an opportunity to clean your garage and closet space by signing up as a vendor.
Vendors must register on the City of Margate’s website before the event. The fee for vending space is $10 for Margate residents and $30 for non-residents. Vending space is still available on a first-come-first-served basis.
