The Broward Sheriff’s Office invites the public to a Hiring Open House to recruit new members for its Department of Detention and Corrections Team.
On Saturday, June 1, BSO will host the hiring Open House from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. EDT at the Public Safety Building at 2601 West Broward Blvd.
BSO is offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for new hires to attract new talent to its ranks. The sign-on bonus is an incentive to quickly fill critical law enforcement roles within the Broward County Jails.
The open house will allow potential candidates to explore careers in law enforcement and learn about the various roles and responsibilities of working in detention and corrections.
No prior experience in law enforcement or corrections is necessary to apply. Candidates need to meet the following criteria:
- At least 18 years of age
- U.S. citizenship
- Possession of a high school diploma or GED
For more information, attendees are advised to visit the BSO official website.
