A Margate Boy Scout troop is cooking up some serious grub for a good cause.
Troop 836 will prepare and serve a “Big Breakfast” of eggs, sausage, bacon, grits, biscuits with gravy, pancakes, fresh fruit, coffee, and juice for their troop fundraiser Sunday, Oct. 30.
Breakfast will be served from 9 to 11 a.m. at American Legion Post 157, located at 1791 Mears Pkwy. in Margate.
The cost per person is $6, and all are welcome to attend.
Diners can pay at the legion hall in cash, by PayPal, or Zelle.
Information will also be available for anyone interested in joining the scouts. Kids between the ages of 11 and 17 are eligible.
