Registration is now open for the City of Coconut Creek Parks and Recreation Department’s 2023 5K Butterfly Run.
The City of Coconut Creek will host its annual 5K Butterfly Run on Sunday, February 3, at Tradewinds Park, at 3600 West Sample Road.
The all-ages race features awards to be presented to the Top 3 male and female finishers, first-place overall male and female finishers, and first male and female Coconut Creek resident finishers.
The first 500 finishers overall will also receive a Butterfly Run finisher medal.
To incentivize early registration that will help race organizers prepare for the event, the first 500 registrants will receive a Sport Tek long sleeve race shirt.
To register, visit the race sign-up page. The cost of registration is $30 for runners over 18 years of age and $15 for those under 18 years old. There is also an additional $4.95 charge to sign-up online.
Registration ends on February 1, or when all allocated spots for the Butterfly Run are filled. As of press time, 373 spots in the race remain.
