Monarch High School Softball Team. {Athletics}

After a trip to the Regional Semifinals a season ago, the Monarch High School softball team saw seven players recognized with conference awards.
Sarah Phipps: First Team
Very few softball players in Broward County have as much power as Sarah Phipps. Not only did she hit four home runs this season, but she also won the Home Run Derby in the BCAA Star Game. She also hit .411 this year which was second on the team.
Isabella Castelli: First Team
Isabella Castelli was also named to the first team after her dominating season on the mound. The St. Thomas university signee went 7-2 this year with an ERA of 1.87. In 108.1 innings, Taylor struck out 119.
Ciera Taylor: Second Team
After coming over from Coral Springs Charter, Ciera Taylor made the All-Conference Second Team. In 25 games, Taylor led the team with a .485 batting average and drove in 16 runs. She is set to play at Florida Memorial University.

Emersyn Clark: Honorable Mention
Emersyn Clark was one of four players from the Knights to receive an honorable mention. This year, Clark had 21 hits, drove 14 RBIs, and scored 15 runs.
Mackenzie Foster: Honorable Mention
Mackenzie Foster was also an honorable mention after hitting .299 this year. She also recorded 17 RBIs, scored 11 runs, and still has two years left on the varsity softball team.
Adriana Zullo: Honorable Mention
The third honorable mention from Monarch was Adrianna Zullo. Along with terrific defense in center field, she had 14 hits in 23 games.
Mia Macaione: Honorable Mention
Mia Macaione was only a freshman but made her mark on the mound. She struck out 32 hitters in 30.2 innings and also hit over .360.
