By Sharon Aron Baron

The Humane Society of Broward County is shining the spotlight on two lovable animals hoping to find their forever homes.

Raven

Meet Raven, a delightful four-year-old dog, and Bevo, a handsome one-and-a-half-year-old cat, both eagerly awaiting a new family to call their own.

Raven, identified by the shelter as A667690, is a 65-pound bundle of joy who thrives on spreading love to everyone she encounters.

Regrettably, she was recently surrendered by her previous owners due to their newborn baby’s allergies. Raven’s playful nature and affectionate demeanor make her an ideal fit for families searching for a wonderful family dog. She adores belly rubs and is known to take refreshing laps in the pool if given the opportunity. Fetch is one of her favorite games, and at night, she’s content to sleep in her own bed. Raven also gets along famously with other dogs, making her a great companion for households with existing furry friends.

Bevo

Bevo, known by the shelter as ID 651929, is a cocoa and white cat with captivating golden eyes. This inquisitive feline, who had been a beloved member of a family since he was a kitten, finds himself in need of a new loving home. Bevo’s heartwarming personality remains intact despite the circumstances. He’s a curious explorer who adores attention and relishes interactive play. With a penchant for treats, petting, and cuddling, Bevo promises to bring endless joy and companionship to a caring family. If you’re seeking an adoring cat to complete your home, Bevo could be the perfect addition.

To meet Raven, Bevo, or any other available pets, interested individuals are encouraged to complete a pre-adoption application at www.humanebroward.com. After submitting the application, prospective pet owners can visit the Humane Society of Broward County, located at 2070 Griffin Road in Fort Lauderdale. The adoption kennels open their doors at 11 a.m. daily, providing ample opportunity for potential adopters to meet and interact with the animals.
