Sharkie and Bambi

In a sad turn of events, Sharkie, a lovable four-year-old pup, returns to the Humane Society of Broward County after being returned by his adoptive family.
Despite being adopted as a little pup, Sharkie’s size and strength became a concern for his family as he grew older. He has since been deemed “too big and too strong,” leading to his unfortunate return to the shelter.
Sharkie, identified by the shelter as A613280, weighs an impressive 64 pounds and is known for his playful and affectionate nature. With his unique appearance, Sharkie is confident that he stands out among other canines in the neighborhood.
His short legs and long body suggest he may have some Basset Hound and Great Dane heritage, making him an extraordinary and distinctive addition to any family.
While Sharkie’s size may be imposing, he believes it only means there is more of him to love. He hopes his prospective family won’t mind if he hops on the couch or snuggles up in bed with them. Although he gets along well with other dogs and children, Sharkie does tend to chase cats so a feline-free environment would be ideal.
He is also well-trained in signaling his need to go outside and enjoys spending time in a crate when no one is home.
Being honest and forthcoming, Sharkie admits to having a penchant for chewing on the occasional remote control. Nevertheless, he remains hopeful that potential adopters will not overlook him simply because he has grown up. Thanks to the generosity of Ed and Ellen G. of Hollywood, Sharkie’s adoption fee has been generously sponsored, alleviating any financial concerns for his new family.
Bambi
Bambi, identified as ID 667211, found her way into someone’s home one day and refused to leave. Though the homeowner found her delightful companion, they could not provide a permanent home for her. Consequently, Bambi was brought to the shelter, where she was described as having lingered for several months.
Approximately three, Bambi enjoys the company of humans and appreciates gentle petting. She kindly asks for time to adjust to her new surroundings, promising to become an unwavering and loyal friend to her future family.

There, they can complete the pre-adoption application before going to the shelter located at 2070 Griffin Road in Fort Lauderdale.
