Café Sol marked its official opening in Margate with a ribbon-cutting on June 19.
The owners, Drew Wood and Luis Guerra, welcomed city leaders and customers to the restaurant.
“I have been living in Margate for 34 years, and I coached youth baseball here. I love the city, and I want people to see this restaurant as a home where they can have breakfast or lunch and a cup of coffee,” said Guerra.
A passion for coffee motivates Wood. “We have coffee, espresso, cappuccino, and our toasted coffee with marshmallow foam is very popular,” he said.
Café Sol offers a comfortable environment for a casual breakfast or lunch.
“It is important that we have good food and a good vibe. Our crepes, avocado toast, and cilantro chicken are popular,” said Guerra.
Vice Mayor Anthony Caggiano welcomed Café Sol before the ribbon was cut. “We are thrilled you have opened your business in Ace Plaza and wish you success,” he said.
