Santa will make an early stop in Margate in the lead-up to his busiest work day of the year, and residents can now register to have their homes on his list of places to visit while in town.
Each night from Saturday, December 17 to Monday, December 19, Santa will visit up to 20 homes from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. for a quick hello and take pictures before heading back to the North Pole to finalize his Christmas Day plans.
On each stop of his Margate tour, Santa and his helpers will arrive in classic Saint Nick style, pulling up to each home on a decorated sleigh.
Margate residents must register for a Santa visit in person, on a first-come, first-served basis, on Saturday, December 10, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Margate Fire Administration located at 1835 Banks Road.
A $10 cash donation for each participating child is required, which will benefit the Margate Police Department’s Toy Drive.
