The Margate Police Department invites the community for a night out of family-filled fun in the name of crime prevention and safety education.
The Margate Police Department will host its 21st Annual National Night Out Against Crime event on Tuesday, August 1, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., at the Margate Sports Complex at 1695 Banks Road.
The ‘National Night Out Against Crime’ event once again hosts a free, family-friendly gathering to promote community-building and crime prevention.
Attendees are invited to come out and learn about crime prevention tips surrounded by food, live music, and activities for kids of all ages.
Additionally, families will have the chance to meet local law enforcement officers and explore emergency vehicles up close, fostering a sense of trust and familiarity between the community and those who serve and protect.
Law enforcement agencies will also perform SWAT, K-9, fire rescue, and aviation demonstrations.
