It’s time to branch out during the City of Margate’s Tree Giveaway.
Held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the NW Corner of State Road 7 and Margate Boulevard, the event is exclusively for residents and will require proof of residency. There is a limit of one tree per residential address while supplies last.
Trees include Yellow Tab, Crape Myrtle, Live Oak, and citrus trees ( lemon, grapefruit, and orange).
Vehicles can enter on Seton Drive; no walk-ups are allowed. Once you come to a complete stop in your vehicle, we ask that you pop your trunk open, and City staff will put the selected tree inside your trunk.
It’s recommended vehicles enter on Seton Drive; once the car comes to a complete stop, the city asks for the trunk to be popped open, and staff will place the selected tree inside the trunk of the car. No walk-ups are allowed.
