Through our joint effort with the Margate Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Margate’s crime and arrests through Sept. 10, 2022.
Domestic Battery
Domestic Battery was reported on Celebration Pl. on 9/7/22. Suspect bit/hit and scratched the victim.
Fraud
A 37-year-old male was the victim of Fraud – All Other at 2000 N State Road 7 on 09/07/2022. Tot. Est. Loss: $2,000.
Grand Theft Auto
An incident of Grand Theft Auto was reported on South Hemmingway Circle on 09/09/22). A red 2014 Ford F150 was stolen overnight.
Retail Theft
A Retail Theft was reported at Winn Dixie, 5600 W. Sample Rd., 09/09/2022. The suspect left the store without paying for $500 worth of merchandise/food. The suspect was seen leaving the area in a white Kia.
Vehicle Burglary
A Vehicle Burglary (unlocked)was reported at 5730 Lakeside Dr. (parking lot)
On 9/7/22, white iPods in a pink/blue/purple/white case, with an overall value of $200, were stolen from a blue 2021 VW Atlas SUV.
On 09/12/2022, in the rear of 3201 North State Rd. 7, a loaded black Glock 19 was stolen from a vehicle. The gun contained 16 bullets. The total approximate value of the items was $800—no indication of forced entry to the vehicle. The victim expressed his wish to prosecute if a subject was located.
Vehicle Theft
Theft of the Vehicle was reported on NW 58th Ave. The victim stated on 9/10/22 that her 2015 silver Jeep Grand Cherokee was stolen.

Gray, Grace Garrigues Stewa, 40, was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol on NW 2nd St on 09/06/2022.
Anderson, Tyler James, 18, was arrested on charges of Burgl Tools-possess-with Intent To Use on Lakewood Cir on 09/07/2022.
Fields, Corey Maxwell, 22, was arrested on charges of Domestic Battery By Strangulation-dating Relation on NW 65th Ave on 09/07/2022.
Bailey, Juan Alfredo, 24, was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol on Celebration Pl. on 09/07/2022.
Yearby, Ivory Lee, 36, was arrested on charges of Burgl-conveyance, Unoccupied/unarmed at 5000 Coconut Creek Pkwy on 09/08/2022.
Datilus, Diazemie, 19, was arrested on charges of Aggravated Assault W/ Deadly Weapon Domestic Viol on Nw 51st Ter on 09/08/2022.
Barreiro, Kevin Andres, 20, was arrested on charges of Touch Or Strike/battery/domestic Viol on St Michelle Way on 09/10/2022.
Watson, Joshua, 20, was arrested on charges of Warrant (grand Theft) at 6241 NW 15th St on 09/09/2022.
