Through our joint effort with the Margate Police Department to share updates with residents, this is a summary of Margate’s crime and arrests through Sept. 17, 2022.
Burglary
On 09/14/2022, an unknown suspect entered through an unlocked drive-through window at Boston Market, 5681 W Atlantic Blvd. Flash Drive stolen worth approx. $80. Cash Register removed but left behind with no access to it.
Fraud
490 N. State Rd. 7
The victim got her purse stolen on Monday, 9/12/22 out of Tamarac. Later, at TD Bank, 490 N. State Rd. 7. unknown subject(s) used the victim’s FL license to withdraw $1,800 from her bank account. Victim desires prosecution.
Retail Theft
Retail Theft at 5598 W. Sample Rd (Winn-Dixie Liquor) on 09/15/2022. An unknown male stole $600 worth of alcohol.
Stolen Vehicle
Stolen Vehicle at CVS, 255 S SR 7, on 09/14/22. Black 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander. The victim left the vehicle running outside of CVS. When he came outside, the vehicle was stolen.
Vehicle Burglary
Burglary Vehicle on SW 50TH Ter reported on 09/13. Smashed window. A chrome .380 semi-auto handgun was stolen.
Vehicle burglaries at 7955 Royal Palm Blvd (Abundant Life Church) on 09/14/22. Two vehicles were burglarized. V1-broken passenger window, the purse was stolen. V2- broken passenger window; nothing was stolen.
Burglary Vehicle on SW 54th Avenue. The victim advised that he parked his two vehicles in his driveway on the evening of Sept. 14 and returned to the cars on the afternoon of the 15th to discover the interior of both vehicles in disarray. A bottle of cologne was taken from one of the vehicles—no forced entry.
Burglary Vehicle on SW 49th Way on 09/13. Window smashed, wallet taken.

Delphin, Carl Henry Edouard, 35, was arrested on charges of Domestic Battery By Strangulation-dating Relation on SW 11th St on 09/l 7/2022.
James, Eartha, 47, was arrested on charges of Violate Injunction – Stalking on Nw 65th Way on 09/17/2022.
Andrews, Alphonzo Raymond Dane, 52, was arrested on charges of Warrant, 8070 Nw 11th St, on 09/16/2022.
Salters, Breona Trenice, 23, was arrested on charges of Aggrav Asslt – Weapon-w Deadly Weapon Without Intent To Kill on Nw 3rd Pl on 09/15/2022.
Boraks, Lee Michael, 43, was arrested on Burgl-structure Unoccupied/unarmed charges at 3100 N State Road 7 on 09/14/2022.
Sessler, Jennifer Ann, 46, was arrested on charges of Damage Prop-crim Misch-1000 Dols Or More on Nw 1st St on 09/14/2022.
Gibson, Michael E., 59, was arrested on charges of Larc-petit Theft 2nd Degree 1st Offense at 5555 W Atlantic Blvd on 09/15/2022.
