Coconut Creek is holding a weekly pee wee basketball class for children to learn the fundamentals of the popular sport.
Children ages 3-4 can participate in the classes. Parent participation is required, with each child having a minimum of one parent participating. Both child and parent must wear sneakers.
Held every Wednesday from 3 to 3:45 p.m., from October 26 to November 16, classes are at the Recreation Complex, located at 4455 Sol Pres Blvd.
The cost is $45 for Coconut Creek residents and $55 for non-residents. All participants will receive a t-shirt, certificate of completion, medal, and ball.
Registration is ongoing until full, with space limited to 12 participants. Registration is available online here or by walk-in at the Recreation Complex or the Community Center, located at 1100 Lyons Road.
