The City of Margate will honor those who have served in the U.S. armed forces during its annual Veterans Day ceremony on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
The ceremony begins at 10:30 a.m. at Veterans Memorial Park, 7044 NW First St., and will feature a band performance and light refreshments.
Mayor Antonio Arserio encouraged residents to attend and recognize the sacrifices made by military veterans.
“Our veterans deserve our lasting gratitude, and we must always remember their dedication,” Arserio said.
As part of its year-round recognition of veterans, the city also offers free yard signs displaying the message, “The City of Margate Honors Our Veterans. Thank You For Your Service.”
Veterans can obtain the signs at no cost to display on their properties.
